How to use
After every use, add 2 ounces of this product per 500 gallons of water.
Run the pump for at least 30 minutes.
Turn the jets on and off once or twice after adding this product to improve the treatment.
This product is neither a sanitizer nor algaecide. For control of microorganisms in pool, spa or hot tub water, or algae control, use an EPA registered product.

I use this product after each use of my small hot tub. The water has remained clear and fresh. The price is about right compared to other products. I will puschase more when needed.
This Aquadoc Non-Chlorine Spa Shock does what it’s supposed to do. The concentration of the active ingredient is 36.2% compared to 38% in the pool store brand I typically use. The lid on the container was a pain in the ole keester to open. I tried following the directions for opening, but things weren’t happening as they should have. I nearly had to tear the top off and cut my finger in the process.The product itself is good and does what it’s supposed to by oxidizing and removing body oils, lotions, ammonia, sweat, dead skin, etc. However, it doesn’t **** bacteria, so you’ll still need chlorine. It is to be used as an adjunct to chlorine.Conclusion: Though the concentration of the active ingredient (potassium peroxymonosulfate) is slightly less than some better-known brands, it still works well. I have used this following three heavy rains, and my pool remains crystal clear. I would only order it again if the lid design were changed. I see no reason to give this product less than a four-star review.
Crystal clear water that stays clean with no chlorine
The container is hard to open and maybe to stop it from opening through transit or for kids not to open it but the product inside is great. I had to use a knife that was strong to even try to get inside the product. We had so much rain these days that I got algae in my small pool. It cleans it well from all particles but the algae was still there and I had to use chlorine to remove the algae. After that, it stayed clean for the next few days by only using this product to keep it crystal clear. It works great especially after you go in for a few hours and come out and need to clean the water that was used.

This immediately dissolves in when I placed it in my pool, it was very easy to use. Although it's for spa use I used it for a small pool that I had and it worked great. Although it did take a while, after placing it in by the next morning the pool was crystal clear.
