Why do I need both a pH Increaser and Decreaser for my spa or hot tub?
pH levels can fluctuate over time due to usage, water source, and environmental factors. The pH Increaser is used to raise low pH levels, while the pH Decreaser is used to lower high pH levels. Having both products available allows for more precise water balancing and helps manage conditions that may contribute to scale formation, corrosion, or discomfort when used as part of routine care.
How do I know when to use the pH Increaser or Decreaser?
Test your spa or hot tub water using test strips or a water testing kit. If pH levels are below approximately 7.2, the pH Increaser may be used. If pH levels are above approximately 7.8, the pH Decreaser may be applied. Always follow label directions and adjust gradually, retesting between applications.
Can I use this bundle with other spa or hot tub chemicals?
Yes, the pH Increaser and Decreaser are designed to be used alongside common spa and hot tub chemicals. Balancing pH before adding other treatments, such as sanitizers or shock products, can help support overall water care. Regular testing before and after adjustments is recommended.
