Our pH Decreaser swiftly adjusts your hot tub or spa water's pH, safeguarding equipment from damage due to imbalanced levels and ensuring a rapid restoration of pH balance for a harmonious and effective spa experience.
How to use
This product should be used if pH is above 7.8.
Turn on air blower or filter system.
Add 1 oz. of this product.
Retest water after 30 minutes.
Follow steps 1-3 until pH and total alkalinity are in the range of 7.2-7.8 and 80-140 ppm respectively.
NOTE: Do not add more than 1 oz. at a time. Always wait 30 minutes between doses and test water before each addition of this product.

It worked, however it did actually take the whole bottle to decrease the alkalinity to a point where it was in the ok range.Once I added soda ash to increase the ph, the alkalinity just went right back up.
This is excellent PH Decreaser for the hot tub. This is in liquid form and not the granules. Which is easier to get mixed into the hot tub. Works great! HIGHLY recommended!
I tried this on a small 900 gallon pool and it works, but unfortunately we had to take the pool down because it wasn't heated and I live in Wisconsin. Maybe I'll put it up next summer and use this stuff again, it will still work.
