This liquid algaecide is made for self-contained, recirculating fountains and water features. When used as directed, it helps control common algae types including green and green-water algae, string or hair algae, and blanketweed. It works well for routine maintenance and for addressing early signs of algae buildup before they become a bigger cleanup job.
How to use
Add 1 teaspoon (5 mL) per 50 gallons of fountain water.
For visible algae, repeat the dose every 3 days until algae is under control. Physically remove or siphon out dead algae for best results.
For ongoing maintenance, continue dosing every 5 days to weekly as directed on the label.
Use only in self-contained, recirculating fountains and water features where water is contained with no outflow. Never pour treated water down a drain.
Keep birds, pets, and wildlife from drinking or bathing in treated water until it has fully cleared. Treated water is not a wildlife-safe water source.
If your fountain has fish, follow label directions and keep aeration running at all times.
