AquaDoc phosphate remover for swimming pools is a concentrated pool maintenance chemical designed to help reduce phosphate levels in swimming pool water. Phosphates can enter your pool from rainwater, debris, swimmer use, and other environmental sources, and buildup over time can impact overall water quality and clarity.
This concentrated phosphate remover binds phosphates in the water so they can be captured by your pool filter. For best results, run your filtration system continuously after treatment and clean or backwash as needed.
Ideal for pool opening and routine maintenance, this is a reliable phosphate remover for pool owners and is compatible with saltwater and traditional pools, including inground and above ground systems. Use as needed based on your phosphate test results to support clearer-looking water and easier ongoing pool care.
This concentrated solution is formulated to help reduce phosphates from your swimming pool. One quart (32 FL OZ) bottle per 10,000 gallons of pool water helps reduce up to 9,000 ppb of phosphates.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Clean or backwash filter and balance pool water before application.
2. Test pool water for phosphate levels with a phosphate test kit.
3. Turn on the circulation system. Shake product well before application.
4. Follow the chart below and slowly add required amount of this product evenly around the perimeter of the pool.
5. The phosphate fallout may increase your filter's pressure. Monitor and backwash your filter regularly.
NOTE: This product may cause clouding of the pool water. This is a normal reaction caused by the product bonding with the phosphates. Your filtration system will capture the bonded phosphates from the swimming pool. Allow several hours for the pool to clear.
Phosphate testing can be influenced by existing conditions in the water. Additionally, poly-phosphorus is added by municipalities with other chemicals to control infrastructure piping. The presence of poly-phosphorous in your pool water may distort your phosphate reading.
