SmartSplash is AquaDoc's custom App that allows you to input your pool or spa test results and immediately get expert recommendations on how to balance your water.

SmartSplash works best with AquaDoc's Eagle Ray digital water tester, but you can also use other testing methods and input your data manually.

FAQs

Where can I access SmartSplash?

SmartSplash is available on both the Apple and Google App store. If you prefer, you may also use the SmartSplash website -- AquaDocPortal.com.

How do I setup my pool or hot tub in SmartSplash?

  1. Once logged in, click "My Pool" 
  2. Enter a custom name for your pool or spa
  3. Input size, depth, wall finish, filter type, and more
  4. Default chemical targets are set for you. However, you may adjust these targets based on your specific preferences.
  5. Click Save
  6. Or, if you have another Pool or Spa you would like to track, click on "New Pool or Spa" to both Save the current one, and start entering another one.

Why are my gallons instantly populating when I enter my pool or spa?

SmartSplash automatically estimates the gallons based on the length, width, and depths you enter. If this is inaccurate, you may adjust the gallons as needed.

How do I toggle between my different pools and spas?

Look for the the name of your current pool or spa with a dropdown arrow V and click on it. It will list all of the pools and spas you have saved. See below.

What does "remind me again" feature do? Can I change the 14 day default?

This feature will send you an email reminding you to run another test. The default is set to 14 days, but you can change to your preferred number of days. Please note, this feature is set to disabled as default. You must enable it in order to receive reminders.

Will these recommendations work for any pool and spa chemicals?

SmartSplash recommendations are designed specifically for the chemicals listed in the app. Using other products may cause inaccurate dosing or water balance issues, as the app is not calibrated for third-party chemicals. For best results, always follow the recommended products.

Do I need an Eagle Ray to use SmartSplash

While the Eagle Ray digital water tester is the best way to get accurate results, and works seamlessly with SmartSplash, you can also use any testing method you prefer. Simply enter your water chemistry datapoints into the platform.
