A phosphate remover made for saltwater pools to help reduce phosphate levels and support clearer water as part of routine maintenance.

Product Details

AquaDoc phosphate remover for saltwater pools is a concentrated pool maintenance chemical designed to help reduce phosphate levels in saltwater pool water. Phosphates can enter your pool from rainwater, debris, swimmer use, and other environmental sources, and buildup over time can impact overall water quality and clarity.

This concentrated phosphate remover binds phosphates in the water so they can be captured by your pool filter. For best results, run your filtration system continuously after treatment and clean or backwash as needed. Temporary cloudiness may occur during treatment as the product works through filtration.

Ideal for pool opening and routine maintenance, this is a reliable phosphate remover for saltwater pool owners and is engineered specifically for saltwater systems, including inground and above ground pools. Use as needed based on your phosphate test results to support clearer-looking water and easier ongoing pool care.

How to use

1. Resolve any existing water issues and test phosphate levels before using.
2. Balance pH (7.2–7.6), alkalinity (100–120 ppm), and calcium hardness (200–400 ppm).
3. Shake the bottle well. With pump and filter running, remove skimmer basket and debris.
4. Add 16 oz per 10,000 gallons directly to the skimmer. Product is safe for larger doses.
5. Run pump and filter for 24 hours. Hazy water may occur. This clears as phosphates are captured.

* Pool use may resume 15 minutes after application. See label for detailed instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this formulated specifically for saltwater pools?

Yes. This phosphate remover is made specifically for saltwater pools and can be used as part of routine pool maintenance.

How often should this be added?

Use frequency depends on your pool conditions and phosphate levels. For best results, test phosphate levels regularly and add as needed.

Is this compatible with other pool chemicals?

Yes. It can be used as part of a regular pool care routine with other compatible pool chemicals. Do not mix chemicals directly together. Add separately and always follow label directions.

Will this cause cloudiness in my pool?

Temporary cloudiness may occur during treatment as the product binds with phosphates. This is a normal part of the process. Your filtration system will capture the bonded phosphates, and the water should clear within several hours.
